A low pressure system will spin over the Great Lakes Tuesday, with an elongated cold front stretched across the eastern U.S. into the Deep South and southern Plains. Showers and perhaps a rumble or two of thunder will be found across the Great Lakes into the Upper Midwest and Ohio Valley. There will be a good chance for rain showers and thunderstorms in eastern New England, with a lower chance across western New England into the Mid-Atlantic.
