Labor Day Weekend Outlook

By Jason Christian, Blue Weather & RealWV

Hello folks! Happy Friday! Happy meteorological fall! It will be a beautiful start to Labor Day weekend across much of the East Coast and Great Lakes, where high pressure dominates and provides plenty of sunshine, low humidity and high temperatures in the 70s and low 80s. A great day to get outside if you can! Rain chances increase along the Gulf Coast, where a stalled low-pressure system will allow storms to develop throughout the day. Across Alabama and Georgia, cloud cover will keep high temperatures slightly below normal, staying in the high 70s and low 80s. Elsewhere across the Deep South and Lower Ohio Valley, expect temperatures to be a little warmer, with most spots in the 80s and a couple spots in the low 90s.
