Christmas Eve Services in the Greenbrier Valley

Greenbrier Valley Christmas Eve church services:

  • Clifton Presbyterian Church: Christmas Eve candlelight service begins at 7 p.m. The evening will include special music, carols, special kid’s time, and the Christmas story. Service will be led by Rev. Ron Miller and Rev. Stephen Baldwin.
  • Ronceverte Presbyterian Church: Christmas Eve service begins at 11 p.m. The evening will include carols, stories, scriptures, communion, and hot chocolate. Service will be led by Rev. Stephen Baldwin.
  • Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church: Three Christmas Eve services will be held. The first service will begin at 11 a.m., with candlelight service at 7 p.m. Candlelight and communion service will begin at 11 p.m.
  • Greenbrier Valley Church of the Nazarene: Christmas Eve service begins at 10:30 a.m. A separate worship service specifically designed for children also begins at 10:30 a.m. Sunday School classes precede services at 9:30 a.m.
  • Ronceverte Christian Church: Christmas Eve service begins at 11 a.m. Sunday School precedes service at 9:45 a.m.
  • Grassroots Church: Two Christmas Eve services will be held. The first service will begin at 10 a.m., and the second will begin at 5 p.m. These times are for Grassroots Church’s Lewisburg and Union locations. 
  • Lewisburg United Methodist Church: Christmas Eve service begins at 10 a.m. Service can be enjoyed in person, or streamed via Facebook live. 
  • Lewisburg Church of Christ: Christmas Eve service begins at 11 a.m. Bible Study precedes service at 10 a.m. 
  • Old Greenbrier Baptist Church: Christmas Eve service begins at 11 a.m. Adult Sunday School precedes service at 9;45 a.m. 
  • Shuck Memorial Baptist Church: Two Christmas Eve services will be held, beginning at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The 9 a.m. service will offer “Children’s Church” for Pre-K through 4th graders.
  • Lewisburg Baptist Church: Two Christmas Eve services will be held. The first service will begin at 11 a/m/, and the second at 6 p.m. Sunday School will precede morning service at 10 a.m.
  • Rhema Christian Center: Christmas Eve service begins at 10 a.m. Service can be enjoyed in person, by streaming via Facebook or YouTube. 
  • St. James Episcopal Church: Three Christmas Eve services will be held. The first service will begin at 10:30 a.m., and feature Holy Eucharist with music. The second will begin at 5 p.m., and the third will begin at 10:30 p.m., and feature Festival Choral Eucharist.
  • Calvary United Methodist Church: Christmas Eve service begins at 9:30 a.m.
  • St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church: A vigil service will be held on Saturday at 4 p.m. Two Christmas Eve services will be held, beginning at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Christmas Day service will begin at 10 a.m.
  • St Catherine of Siena Catholic Church: Two Christmas Eve services will be held. The first service will begin at 11 a.m., and the second will begin at 7 p.m. 
  • First Baptist Church of Fairlea: Traditional Christmas Eve service will begin at 6 p.m.
  • Rainelle United Methodist Church: Christmas Eve service will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday School will precede the service at 9 a.m.
  • Grace Bible Church: Christmas Eve service begins at 11 a.m.
  • Frankford Presbyterian Church: Christmas Eve service will begin at 7 p.m. The evening will include carols, a story, and candlelight.
