ST. ALBANS, W.Va. – The Alban Arts Center begins 2024 with an impressive lineup of live stage performances, including the classics “Cabaret” and “The Lion, the With, and the Wardrobe,” and the sensationally suspenseful “Pontypool.” But before lions, zombies, and dancers take over the stage, it will be a six-show engagement of “Steel Magnolias” to kick off the new year.

The cast of “Steel Magnolias” features Janet Prince in the role of “Ouiser Boudreaux,” Rebecca Robinson in the role of “M’Lynn Eatenton,” and Su Voycik-Meredith in the role of “Clairee Belcher.” Performances will run Friday, Saturday, and Sunday January 12 through 14, and 19 through 21. Friday and Saturday showings will begin at 8 p.m., and Sunday showings will begin at 2 p.m.
