Herd women’s golf opens spring at Atlantic Invitational

Marshall Women’s Golf gets its Spring 2024 schedule underway, starting on Monday at the Atlantic Invitational, hosted by Florida Atlantic.

The 54-hole event gets underway on Monday as the seven competing teams take to Fountains Country Club in Lake Worth, Florida, looking to get the spring off to a strong start.

“We are really excited for our team to get the spring started,” Marshall Women’s Golf coach Brooke Burkhammer said. “This tournament is a great opportunity for our team to see where they are against strong competition on a challenging course.”

Competing for Marshall will be Emily McLatcheyKasey McIlvaineMadison BordersHanna Shrout and Olivia Kochan.

Tournament action will get underway with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Monday. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday before teeing it up for the final 18 on Tuesday morning.
