AEW pro wrestling coming to Charleston, tickets go on sale this week

By RealWV staff,

Cable TV’s #1 show on Wednesday nights is coming to Charleston, WV, on April 10.

All Elite Wrestling’s Wednesday Night Dynamite returns to the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center on April 10, 2024. The action begins at 7:30pm and goes live worldwide on TBS from 8-10pm. Then, they tape Friday Night Rampage after Dynamite goes off the air.

AEW is a red-hot wrestling promotion coming off the highly successful Revolution show, which was held in a sold-out Greensboro Coliseum this past weekend. Revolution saw Sting & Darby Allin retain the Tag Team titles, though with Sting’s retirement those titles will now be up for grabs in a tournament kicking off this month. Will Osprey also debuted at Revolution against Konosuke Takeshita in what is being hailed today as a match of the year candidate. Samoa Joe also retained the World Heavyweight Title against Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page. Page is a perennial title contender who’s from neighboring Virginia.

With additional big names like Mercedes Mone and possibly Japanese megastar Okada set to debut for AEW this month, Dynamite in Charleston is setting up to be a huge show.

Dynamite came to Charleston two times previously. In the fall of 2022, Kenny Omega returned to action after a long absence due to injury at the show. Bryan Danielson and Daniel Garcia fought a best 2 out of 3 falls match. After the show, owner Tony Khan came out to thank the crowd and promised AEW would return soon.

The ticket presale for AEW members begins this Wednesday at 10am. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday at 10am. To purchase tickets, visit AEW’s website.
