By RealWV staff,

Since the pandemic, small town America has been on a comeback. People like exploring closer to home, taking time to savor good food and an outdoor adventure for the weekend.

U.S.A. Today is celebrating several such small towns across America this spring. Their quest? Find the best small town food scene as picked by readers.

West Virginia has one town in the race, and it happens to be America’s Coolest Small Town—Lewisburg.

Today article. “These 20 small towns, nominated by an expert panel for Best Small Town Food Scene, are on a mission to disprove that thought. From bakeries and farm-to-table restaurants to thriving farmers markets and specialty food shops, these small towns pack big flavor.”
