Josh Crane

The days are getting longer. The grass is growing greener. That can only mean one thing. It’s baseball season!

Kids across this state and nation are dusting off their cleats and breaking in their gloves for the start of a new year. But none of it would be possible without the volunteers who organize, run, and operate leagues.

Josh Crane is the new President of Central Greenbrier Little League. He devotes countless hours of his time as a volunteer to coach, administer, and lead the local league which has more than 400 kids signed up to play. That’s in addition to his job with Shentel, his wife and kids, and his other hobbies!

Josh would be the first to point out that it’s a team effort, so be sure and thank all the umpires, coaches, and concession stand workers this season when you see them at the ball field!

For his leadership of youth sports, providing kids a positive outlet to learn life lessons and setting a good example for each of them to follow, we are proud to name Josh Crane as the certified Real West Virginian of the Week.
