CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Easter season kicked off in festive fashion in Charleston on Saturday, with the annual Bunny Brunch and Easter Celebration. On hand for the festivities were West Virginia’s Commissioner of Culture and History Randall Reid-Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny, Smokey the Bear, several Disney Princesses, and a few hundred smiling children.

The event featured food and snacks, a petting zoo provided by Campbell Family Farm, games and crafts, and an Easter egg hunt. Every child in attendance received an Easter basket filled with treats.

Walmart provided 14 bicycles which were raffled off, and the Charleston Dirty Birds baseball team donated five four-packs of tickets
