Easter services scheduled throughout the Greenbrier Valley

Easter weekend is filled with worship, fellowship, and family. RealWV wants to help make your weekend plans a little easier by providing a list of this special weekend’s activities and religious services in Greenbrier County.

NOTE: These are the services and activities we have been made aware of. If our wonderful readers know of anything this weekend that we have not listed here, please mention it in the comments, or contact us directly so that we can add it to the list. White Sulphur Springs:

  • The Redemption Center: Easter Eggstravaganza to take place at 11a.m., Saturday, at Memorial Park. For information call 681-426-0015, or visit trcwv.com. Easter Sunday Son-rise Service begins at 7a.m. 
  • Bethesda Church: Easter Sunday services are at 9 a.m. and 11a.m. Services can be streamed online by visiting bethesdachurch.tv
  • St. Thomas Episcopal Church: Easter Sunday Service begins at 11 a.m.
  • St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church: Good Friday Communion Service at noon, Easter Sunday Confession & Rosary at 8:30 a.m., Mass at 9 a.m. 


  • Old Stone Presbyterian Church: Saturday – Old Stone Presbyterian Church Community Choir and Orchestra presents George Frideric Handel’s “Messiah” at 4 p.m., Sunday –  Easter Sunday worship service 11 a.m. Worship live at 11:00 A.M. on YouTubeAfter 11:00 you can find the service for that Sunday on that same link. Worship on the radio at 11:00 can be found on 103.1 FM, or their radio broadcast online on Facebook  or Tune In.
  • Lewisburg United Methodist Church: Easter Sunday Services begin at 10a.m., and can be streamed online by visiting https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLUleqb_7jcQqARQqLEYYfw
  • Grassroots Church: Good Friday service at 7 p.m., Easter Sunday Gathering at 10 a.m. (5 p.m. in Union). 
  • Lewisburg Baptist Church: Saturday – Easter Festival 11 a.m. –  2 p.m. and a Prayer Vigil 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. On Sunday, Easter Service begins at 10 a.m. with an evening service at 6 p.m. Service streaming available at Lewisburg Baptist Church Facebook page. 
  • St. James’ Episcopal Church: Good Friday service at 7 p.m., Saturday – Easter vigil at 7 p.m. Easter Sunday – Easter Service of Holy Eucharist at 8 a.m., Easter Service of Holy Eucharist with full choir at 10:30 a.m., Coffee Hour and Easter Egg Hunt 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. 


  • Rhema Christian Center: Easter Sunday Service begins at 10a.m., and can be streamed online by visiting therhemalife.com
  • First Baptist Church of Fairlea: Easter Sunday Son-rise service at the chapel of The Greenbrier begins at 7 a.m., Breakfast at FBC at 9 a.m., Large group Bible Study in the Fellowship Hall at 10 a.m., Resurrection Service in the Sanctuary at 11 a.m. 
  • Greenbrier Valley Church of the Nazarene: Easter breakfast at 9:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Plan to join us for this great time of food & fellowship preceding our 10:30 am Easter Sunday worship service. Sunday School classes are preempted that morning. Easter service will include the reception of new members, communion, and baptism. 


  • Clifton Presbyterian Church: Easter Sunday Sunrise Service begins at 7 a.m.

  • Ronceverte Presbyterian Church: Brunch at 10 a.m., Easter Sunday Service begins at 11 a.m.
  • Ronceverte Baptist Church: Community Easter Egg Hunt in memory of Danny and Daisy Foster – 2 p.m. Registration begins at 1 p.m. Sunday morning worship service begins at 11 a.m. 
  • St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church: The Walking Stations of the Cross will take place in Union beginning at noon on Good Friday, March 29. The walk will begin and end at the Methodist Church in Union, WV, with stops at three other churches. Parishioners are encouraged to participate in this ecumenical and evangelical observance and then attend the three o’clock Good Friday liturgy and communion at St. Catherine of Siena; Ecumenical Service with Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m. Saturday– Easter Vigil at 8 p.m. Sunday Mass at 11 a.m. 


  • James Chapel United Methodist Church: Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. 


  • Orient Hill Freewill Baptist: Good Friday worship at 7 p.m. 


  • Charmco House of Prayer: Redeemed Easter Drama March 29-30 at 7 p.m. and March 31 at 10 a.m. We will revisit the time leading up to the crucifixion and the empty tomb. 


  • First Baptist Church of Rainelle: CrossWalk 2024 “Good Friday” March 29th. Join us beginning at Rainelle United Methodist Church at 6 pm. We will walk down main street to First Baptist Church of Rainelle. We hope you can join us for this wonderful event!
  • Rainelle United Methodist Church: Sunday morning service at 10 a.m. 


  • Old Greenbrier Baptist Church will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on March 30th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. More than 1,000 Easter eggs will be spread on the church lawn. There will also be games, prizes and lunch provided.
