Weather cancels Marshall women’s final round of GolfWeek Intercollegiate

PAWLEY’S ISLAND, S.C. – Marshall’s Women’s Golf team saw its final round of action at the Golfweek Intercollegiate cut short due to inclement weather on Wednesday at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.

At the time of the inclement weather, Marshall’s Emily McLatchey was 1-over through 12 holes while Kasey McIlvaine was at 2-over through nine reported holes as the Herd looked to make a move.

However, the tournament’s third round was officially canceled in the middle of the round, meaning all official action reverts to the last completed round’s score.

Marshall will now prepare for the Sun Belt Championships, which are scheduled for April 15-18 in Point Clear, Alabama.
