Deep State plays the Lewis Theatre on Friday

By RealWV staff,

Lewisburg-based band Deep State is playing the first live music show at the newly-renovated Lewis Theatre this Friday at 8pm. The cover charge is $13 at the door or $10 in advance.

Deep State is comprised of members Josh Baldwin, Nathan Seldomridge, Dan Freeman, Patrick Calvert, & Josh Adamo.

For folks who haven’t heard them play before, you can expect a high-energy performance of original music. Their musical style influences include rock, groove, funk, jazz, and bliss.

Asked about the origin of their name, members of Deep State replied, “No comment.”

If you haven’t checked out the Lewis Theatre yet under the leadership of new owners Mary Baldwin and Susan Syner, this is a good chance. “We are super excited to have Deep State at The Lewis for our first live show,” Mary says. “We will have beer and wine available, along with the other typical theatre fare in our newly remodeled lobby.”
