Lonestar to headline as West Virginia Freedom Festival returns to Logan for 25th Anniversary celebration

The West Virginia Freedom Festival returns to Logan for its 25th year on Tuesday, with five straight nights of unique celebrations!

Tuesday, June 25: Royalty Night

  • 5:45 p.m.: Prayer on the Main Stage. Gold Rush Gem Sifting, and rock wall climbing.
  • 6 p.m.: Carnival, inflatables, and select vendors open. Brayden Williamson performs on the Main Stage.
  • 6 – 10 p.m.: Music and Karaoke at the DMV lot.
  • 7 & 9 p.m.: Andy Rotz Western Show at the DMV, Stone Age Show at Honaker Funeral Home, and the Firefighters Fun Show at McCormicks.
  • 7:30 p.m.: The 2024 Freedom Festival Queen will be crowned on the Main Stage.
  • 8 p.m.: Josh Pantry performs on the Main Stage.

Wednesday, June 26: City of Logan Night

  • 5:45 p.m.: Prayer on the Main Stage. Gold Rush Gem Sifting, and rock wall climbing.
  • 6 p.m.: Carnival, inflatables, and select vendors open. Scraps the Clown and Gizmo the Robot downtown. Weekend Warriors perform on the Main Stage.
  • 6 – 10 p.m.: Music and Karaoke at the DMV lot.
  • 7 & 9 p.m.: Andy Rotz Western Show at the DMV, Stone Age Show at Honaker Funeral Home, and the Firefighters Fun Show at McCormicks.
  • 7:30 p.m.: Induction of City of Logan Shining Star recipients.
  • 8:30 p.m.: Journey from the Heart Tribute Band performs on the Main Stage.

Thursday, June 27: Coal Night Hall of Fame

  • 5:45 p.m.: Prayer on the Main Stage. Gold Rush Gem Sifting, and rock wall climbing.
  • 6 p.m.: Carnival, inflatables, and select vendors open. Scraps the Clown and Gizmo the Robot downtown. Hair Supply performs on the Main Stage.

  • 7:30 p.m.: Coal Night Hall of Fame Induction.
  • Beginnings Chicago Tribute Band performs on the Main Stage.

Friday, June 28: Military Salute

  • 5:45 p.m.: Prayer on the Main Stage. Gold Rush Gem Sifting, and rock wall climbing.
  • 6 p.m.: Carnival, inflatables, and select vendors open. Scraps the Clown and Gizmo the Robot downtown. Kate Boytek performs on the Main Stage.

  • 6:30 p.m.: All Star Wrestling Great Freedom Fest Bash at the DMV lot.

  • 7:30 p.m.: Military Salute in memory of Larry Workman on Main Stage.
  • 8:30 p.m.: Lonestar performs on the Main Stage.

Saturday, June 29: 25th Anniversary Celebration

  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Car Cruise In at Contact Choppers Barber Shop.
  • 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Eastbound and Down, Ultimate Smokey and the Bandit Tribute Show, and 2nd annual WV Freedom Festival Motorcycle Show. Main St. parking lot, across from 317 Steakhouse.
  • 4:45 p.m.: Prayer on the Main Stage. Gold Rush Gem Sifting, and rock wall climbing.
  • 5 p.m.: Morgan White performs on the Main Stage.
  • 6 p.m.: Carnival, inflatables, and select vendors open. Scraps the Clown and Gizmo the Robot downtown.
  • 6 – 10 p.m.: Music and Karaoke at the DMV lot.
  • 6 & 8 p.m.: Andy Rotz Western Show at the DMV, Stone Age Show at Honaker Funeral Home, and the Firefighters Fun Show at McCormicks.
  • 7:30 p.m.: Party on the Moon – kickoff to 25th Anniversary celebration.
  • 10:30 p.m.: Fireworks. Two shows – shot from hospital and water towers.
