Ronceverte Food Pantry reopens this Saturday
By RealWV staff,
Ronceverte Food Pantry is reopening to customers this Saturday, September 14, from 9-1030am. They are now located under the bridge in the old arcade (between River City Bikes and the City of Ronceverte’s Public Works Department). The physical address is 434 Monroe Avenue.
After moving out of the Clifford Armory last month, the Ronceverte Food Pantry Board had been waiting on a visit from the state’s food pantry inspector, which is required by law before opening. The inspector visited last week and gave the go-ahead.

This is a temporary location for the Ronceverte Food Pantry, offered to them by the City of Ronceverte, while they transition into their own new space along 219 in the future. While the board seeks grant funding for their new space, they also welcome donations to:
Ronceverte Food Pantry, 426 Main Street West, Ronceverte, WV, 24970.
Food is distributed at no charge every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 9-1030am to Ronceverte residents. In order to apply, residents should come in person to distribution and fill out any required paperwork.
