Confirmed candidates for RealWV forum in Lewisburg next week

LEWISBURG, W.Va. – RealWV is pleased to confirm that our 2024 State & Local Forum for the general election will take place on Tuesday, October 22, at the Lewis Theatre in downtown Lewisburg beginning at 6pm. Admission is free. The event will be livestreamed as well.
State and local candidates have been invited in the races. Confirmed candidates include:
- J.B. McCuskey, Republican for Attorney General
- Teresa Toriseva, Democrat for Attorney General
- Erika Kolenich, Libertarian for Governor
- S. Marshall Wilson, Constitution Party for Governor
- Mark Hunt, Republican for Auditor
- Mary Claytor, Democrat for Auditor
- Richie Holliday, Republican for Greenbrier County Commission
- Brad Tuckwiller, Democrat for Greenbrier County Commission
- Paul Detch, Democrat for House of Delegates
- Kayla McCoy, Democrat for House of Delegates
- Pam Tucker Cline, Chair of the Nicholas County Democratic Executive Committee, surrogate for Steve Williams, Democrat for Governor
- Denise Morrisey, surrogate for her husband, Patrick Morrisey, Republican for Governor
- Other state and local candidates are likely to be added as we await official confirmations.
Two local candidates—Delegate Jeff Campbell and former Delegate Ray Canterbury—who are both running for House this year, have declined participation in the event. Their Democratic opponents both confirmed participation in the forum.
All state and local candidates have been invited to participate. RealWV has also offered all candidates the option of being interviewed for a published article. Suggestions from the public regarding potential questions for the candidates should be emailed to news@therealwv.com.
The Lewis Theatre is located on Court Street just down from the Greenbrier County Courthouse.
Election Day in West Virginia is Tuesday, November 5.
