The Rupert School Apartments are weeks away from being finished. The former school’s old classrooms have been turned into a mix of 14 affordable housing, as well as six market rate housing units. The complex consists of 16 one-bedroom units, and four two-bedroom units.

Tenant applications can be filled out at the Mountain CAP of West Virginia office in Rainelle.
Meadow River Valley Association President Matt Ford will be offering tours of the building on Saturday, March 15, 22, and 29, from 9 to 11 a.m. Representatives from Mountain CAP of West Virginia will be at the school on the 19th and the 26th from 12 until 2 p.m.

The market rate apartments are $680 a month, which includes water, trash, sewer and a storage unit.
