Town of Rainelle municipal candidates for upcoming elections

RAINELLE, W.Va. – Election day for the Town of Rainelle is Tuesday, June 10, 2025. 

The positions of mayor, recorder and seven council members are up for election. Candidates for these positions have already filed their intent to run, and there are no official write-in candidates. 

Mayoral candidates include: 

• Andrea “Andy” Pendleton (incumbent)
• Robin Williams
• Gene Fields

Recorder candidates include: 

• Rick McCall
• Christi Sims

Council member candidates include:

• David Spitzer
• Jimmy Matheney
• Ron Flashman
• Amanda Hunter
• Doris Vandall
• Gary Harris
• Dustin Fox

Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on June 10. Early voting will take place through the U.S. Postal Service from May 28 – June 7.
