You voted, we listened…here are the best local hardware stores in West Virginia
By Stephen Baldwin, RealWV
Back in the springtime, we were all working on those projects we thought about all winter. Whether we were servicing lawn equipment, starting a DIY project in the kitchen, or fixing that leaky faucet, we all go to the same place–our favorite local hardware store.
Why do we go there? Because the folks behind the desk are always welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. If we tell them what we’re working on, they’ll ask us to follow them to a certain aisle and find exactly what we need.
Local hardware stores are often unsung heroes of small towns across the state. They combine the personal and professional skills needed to solve problems large and small.

As a salute to the hard-working men and women of hardware stores, we here at RealWV asked you to nominate your favorite local stores (no big box stores or chains allowed) for the “Best Local Hardware Stores in WV.”
