Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene celebrates 75th anniversary

OAK HILL, WV — In celebration of 75 years of ministry, the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene invites the community to scheduled events over the next week. All events are free and open to the public.
On Wednesday, Aug 20, Jonathan White will play a concert alongside a picnic dinner.
On Friday, Aug 22, food trucks will be at the church for a cruise-in.
On Saturday, Aug 23, the church will be open for tours and an ice cream social will follow.
On Sunday, Aug 24, Rev. Benny Bleigh will lead Sunday School at 9am, followed by a 10am worship serivce with guest preacher Dr. Steve Estep. A dinner will follow the service.
The church began on August 20, 1950, with a tent revival at 3221 Main Street in Oak Hill. Twenty charter members then formed the church in the months afterward. Construction began on the church’s basement within a year. Fifteen senior pastors have led the church throughout its history.
