Seven arrested on drug charges in Wyoming County

PRESS RELEASE:

On Tuesday, November 4, members of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, West Virginia State Police, and the Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force executed two search warrants for several felony drug related offenses.

One search warrant was executed in the Oceana are of Wyoming County where four individuals were arrested for several felony offenses related to the delivery of drugs.

A second, separate search warrant was executed in the Lynco area of Wyoming County where an additional three individuals were placed under arrest for similar felony offenses.

The following individuals were arrested as a result of these efforts:

Jeremy Scott Justice: Delivery of Fentanyl x 5, Delivery of Methamphetamine x 2, and 3 counts of Drug Conspiracy.

Christopher Michael Hatfield: Delivery of Fentanyl x 3, Delivery of Methamphetamine x 2.

Sheena Griffith: Delivery of Fentanyl and Drug Conspiracy.

James Milford Hicks: Delivery of Fentanyl, Delivery of Methamphetamine, and Drug Conspiracy.

Effie Mae Gibson: Delivery of Fentanyl x 2, Delivery of Methamphetamine x 2, and Drug Conspiracy x 2.

Troy Calloway Morgan: Possession with intent to deliver Fentanyl, Possession with intent to deliver Methamphetamine, Drug Conspiracy x 2, and Bond Violation.

Shannon Rae Lusk: Possession with intent to deliver Fentanyl, Possession with intent to deliver Methamphetamine, and Drug Conspiracy x 2.

The above individuals were arraigned in the Magistrate Court of Wyoming County where bond ranged from $200,000 cash to $300,000 cash.

All arrested parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
