WV International Film Festival kicks off at Park Place Cinemas

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia International Film Festival kicked off its 40th anniversary celebration Thursday, with an opening reception at the Park Place Cinema, in downtown Charleston.
A packed house was in attendance for the event, which marks a return to form for the festival. For the first time in nearly a decade, the festival will run for three consecutive days, and screen films at both the Park Place Stadium Cinema, and the Floralee Hark Cohen Cinema.
