LEWISBURG, W.Va. – During a brief special meeting on Wednesday, members of the Greenbrier County Commission approved the amended GigReady Project Operation and Management Agreement for presentation to CityNet .

As explained by Commission President Lowell Rose, “This has been back and forth between our attorney, Britt Ludwig, and our attorney for the GigReady Project, John Stump.”

After review, Rose noted, both attorneys have submitted changes as required by the state and other interested parties, adding, “So everything is in order.”

CityNet will also be a signatory to the amendment,” Ludwig told commissioners. “The version you’re looking at contains all of the modifications from the state and CityNet.”

Once CityNet signs off on the approved agreement, the project is expected to be made available for open bidding.
