As a nonprofit covering news across West Virginia, RealWV is fortunate to receive financial support from grants, sponsors, and readers. This support allows us to provide independent, community-based journalism on local issues with a statewide impact. It also affords us the opportunity to highlight Appalachian culture and West Virginians who quietly hold their communities together each day.

In an effort to expand our capacity, tell more stories, and secure our long-term future, we are hiring an Advertising Sales Agent. This part-time position provides a flexible work schedule and a base salary with uncapped commissions, all while supporting community journalism.

We are looking for someone with experience in sales, advertising, sponsorships, or business development who is self-directed, organized, and accountable with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
