Greenbrier Heat win silver & bronze in WV Special Olympics

MORGANTOWN, WV — The State Special Olympics was held in Morgantown March 14-15 and included a cheer competition for special athletes from across West Virginia.

Wyoming County took home the gold medal in dance as well as cheer, while the Greenbrier Heat took silver in sideline and cheer plus a bronze in dance.

Guiding the Heat to three medals were their amazing coaches, Jessica Hunter, Heather Hunter Humphreys, and Madonna Ayers Hughart! The squad had a terrific year and is already making plans for next year! Meet the team below, including coaches:
