Greenbrier candidate forum for county & legislative races, April 28
By RealWV Staff,

MAXWELTON, WV — With the primary election coming up in May, the team here at RealWV is gearing up to host another candidate forum. As an independent, nonprofit media organization, one of our aims is to provide the public with educational information when they go to the polls.
This candidate forum will feature candidates for Greenbrier County Commission, Greenbrier Board of Education, State Senate District 10, and House of Delegates Districts 46 & 47.
All candidates on the ballot in those races have been personally invited to attend. The event will be held on April 28 at 630PM at Clifton Presbyterian Church in the Fellowship Hall, which also serves as a large polling place for northern Greenbrier County. Clifton is located on 219 North just past the Greenbrier Valley Airport. Ample parking is available.

Col. Scott Womack of Monroe County, WV, will once again serve as moderator. No personal attacks from candidates will be permitted; discussion will focus solely on public policy. The moderator will ask all questions of candidates. Those attending in person will have the chance to submit questions to the moderator.
A livestream of the event will be available, and stories recapping each race will be posted to our website in the days following the forum before Election Day.
The primary election in West Virginia is on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Early voting is held on certain days from April 29-May 9.
