BERKLEY SPRINGS W.Va — Take a look at photos from the 51st annual Apple Butter Festival in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., which was scheduled for Oct. 10-11, 2026. Unfortunately, due to inclement weather on Oct. 11, the festival was shortened to just Oct. 10.

Held every year since 1973, thousands of visitors descend on Berkeley Springs, W.Va., from Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania to celebrate the apple harvest of the surrounding orchards dotting the Eastern Panhandle region’s countryside. The festival featured a parade, harvest-and agriculture-themed contests, live music, vendors, and, of course, apple butter making.

This festival brings the streets of America’s First Spa Town to life.
