Learn to ballroom dance at Carnegie Hall
PRESS RELEASE

Lewisburg, West Virginia – Carnegie Hall invites couples to step onto the dance floor for Learn to Ballroom Dance: Let’s Waltz!, a friendly and structured introduction to one of the most elegant and accessible ballroom styles. Led by Dr. Julian Meadows and Friends, this three‑week series will guide participants through the fundamentals of waltz technique, including timing, posture, and the classic box step, before building toward the smooth, confident rhythm that defines this timeless dance.
Designed specifically for partners learning together, the workshop offers a welcoming environment where couples can explore ballroom basics at a comfortable pace. Registration is per couple, and participants must bring a partner to learn with. The series meets on Tuesdays, November 3, 10, and 17 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and is open to adults 18 and older.
Tuition for Let’s Waltz! is $90 for members and $110 for nonmembers, with special scholarships available for adults 50 and over, reducing the cost to $45. With its focus on connection, movement, and shared learning, this workshop offers couples a delightful way to enjoy the arts together while gaining confidence on the dance floor.
