New music festival in downtown Lewisburg this weekend

Healing Appalachia grows by leaps and bounds, year after year. What began as a small show to support recovery has now grown into one of the state’s largest events, drawing tens of thousands to hear Grammy-nominated artists at the West Virginia State Fairgrounds in a huge fundraiser for recovery support services.
And this year…the party starts early.
Healing Appalachia presents a special pre-show this weekend called “Discover Lewisburg.” It features two nights of concerts in downtown Lewisburg.
On Saturday, July 13, Kindred Valley, Tommy Prine, & Nolan Taylor will play between 1-8pm. Route 60/Washington Street will be closed from Siebold Lane to the 219 intersection.
On Sunday, July 14, the John Ingram Band will play a “blues brunch” outside Briergarten at 1pm.
All shows are free of charge. For more info, visit www.healingappalachia.org.
