Salango Law Light the Night returns with all new holiday thrills

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Charleston’s GoMart Ballpark, home of the 2024 Southern Division Champion Charleston Dirty Birds, has been transformed into the Salanago Law Light the Night holiday spectacular – a magical winter wonderland, complete with twinkling lights, family-friendly activities, and, of course, Santa Claus himself.

In addition to the enhanced light display – which features some 250,000 individual lights – new carnival rides have been added to the event for 2024, including a carousel, and “The Round Up” gravity spinner. Last year’s favorites, such as the ferris wheel and the holiday train will be returning as well, and what holiday family night out would be complete without the excitement of ice bumper cars? (Traditional ice skating is once again available, with on-site skate rentals and skate-assistance).

Salango Law Light the Night will be open every night through January 1, 2025. Operating hours Monday through Thursday are from 5 until 9 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 5 until 10 p.m. Three sensory-friendly nights will also be held on December 3, 10, and 17. The event will be closed on Christmas Day, December 25.
