Churches hosting special worship service at Greenbrier River this Sunday
By RealWV staff,
The congregations of Clifton Presbyterian Church and Ronceverte Presbyterian Church are jointly hosting a worship service this Sunday at 11am. It will be held at the Ronceverte Island Park Amphitheatre on the Greenbrier River.
Parking is available along the road. Handicap parking is available directly beside the amphitheater. Chairs will be provided by Gillespie’s Flowers & Productions.

Worship leaders include Rev. Stephen Baldwin, Rev. Ron Miller, Doris Ann Taylor, and Shana Bennett. Expect to sing old time gospel favorites like “Down to the River to Pray” and hear a sermon on the power of working together. Children are included in the first half of the worship service and can then go to the playground with adult leadership for the remainder of the time.
All are welcome. You are invited!
The churches will also hold a joint picnic Sunday evening in Maxwelton at the Charlie Mackey Park. Fried chicken will be provided, and attendees are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share.
For more information, call the church at 304-647-4400.
