Shepherd women’s golf finishes 5th in Kutztown
FLEETWOOD, Pa. – The Shepherd University women’s golf team fired a 391 to finish fifth in a seven-team field at the Kutztown Spring Invitational at Moselem Springs Golf Club on Sunday. Kutztown took the team title with a 351. Brooke Graham of Kutztown carded a 79 to take medalist honors.
Senior Sara Veara (Berkeley Springs, W.Va./Berkeley Springs) fired an 82 and finished second to lead the Rams. She was followed by freshman Addison Buckland (New Market, Md./Urbana) (99, 26th), sophomore Allison Wallace (Kearneysville, W.Va./Homeschooled) (104, T-29th), sophomore Kaylie Brown (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) (106, 31st), and freshman Natalee Johnson (Front Royal, Va./Skyline) (107, 32nd).
The Rams return to action on April 22 when they compete at the PSAC Championship hosted by Kutztown.
