Carnegie Hall WV seeks volunteers for 2026–2027 season

Community members invited to support one of West Virginia’s premier arts organizations

LEWISBURG, WV — Carnegie Hall is now recruiting volunteers for its 2026–2027 season, inviting community members to take part in a wide-range of roles that help sustain one of West Virginia’s most beloved arts institutions. Volunteers support nearly every aspect of the Hall’s work, from greeting audiences and assisting with merchandise to helping with Club Carnegie, educational outreach, office coverage, mailings, poster distribution, and special events such as Taste of Our Town. Committee participation and other behind‑the‑scenes opportunities are also available for those interested in contributing to the Hall’s long‑term planning and community engagement.

To welcome new volunteers, Carnegie Hall will host orientation sessions on Wednesday, September 9, at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Thursday, September 10, at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Each session includes a tour of the historic building and an overview of volunteer responsibilities. Attendance at one orientation is required for those who wish to serve as ushers during performances.

Carnegie Hall continues to thrive thanks in large part to volunteers who offer their time, energy, and heart to the arts and this community,” said Adam Jeffrey Rossi, Volunteer Coordinator. “Whether they’re ushering for shows, assisting with educational programming, or simply distributing posters around Lewisburg and beyond, every volunteer makes what we do here that much more special. It is the generosity of these individuals which helps keep the arts alive and well in the Greenbrier Valley.”
