Vandalia Health schedules pop-up FARMacies

The Vandalia Health Network has planned pop-up FARMacies in Princeton and Beckley next week.

These pop-ups are open to patients of the hosting practice along with the community.

FARMacies have a variety of fresh produce along with educational resources regarding diabetic health, how to make healthier food choices and reading a food label.

Representatives from Unicare WV also will be on site to share educational materials. This gives people who do not have a primary care physician the opportunity to connect with an office close to home.

Vandalia Health Network FARMacy pop-ups will be at:

CAMC Primary Care Princeton, 150 Courthouse Rd., on Sept. 11 from 1 to 3 p.m.

ARH-Beckley clinic, 250 Stanaford Rd, Beckley, on Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Vandalia Health Network’s FARMacy program began in 2021 serving about 20 people at the Coalfield Health System in Boone County. It now serves hundreds of people at program sites and pop-up locations across West Virginia.
