Women’s 4×100 sets school record for Herd

BOONE, N.C. – Marshall Track & Field took advantage of one more opportunity to get a provisional mark for the First Round of the NCAA Track & Field Championships East Prelims.

The Women’s 4×100 Relay team of Haleigh CrumDezire GeeBay’Andria Hodges, and Lakesha Smith raced a time of 45.02 to take down a school record from 2013. 

As it stands, a pair of long jumpers (Lara Check and Addison Painter) are currently ranked within a provisional mark for the First Round in Jacksonville, Florida starting on May 28 as others wait until next week’s declaration day.
