Alban Arts Academy hosts ‘Elementary Theatre Camp’

ST. ALBANS< W.Va. – The curtain is rising on creativity at the Alban Arts Academy! From June 23rd through June 28th, the Alban Arts Academy invites young performers in grades 1–5 to take center stage during its Elementary Theatre Camp — a fun-filled week designed to introduce children to the world of theatre through hands-on learning and live performance.

Led by experienced instructors from Alban Arts Academy, campers will explore acting, musical theatre, and other areas of theatre performance. Each day will be packed with games, exercises, and rehearsals that build confidence, encourage teamwork, and ignite the imagination.

“This camp is all about giving kids the chance to express themselves, make new friends, and discover how much fun theatre can be!” said Stevie Jenkins, lead instructor for the Elementary Camp. “Whether they’ve never been on stage before or already love performing, every camper will find something to inspire them and have fun doing it.”

The camp concludes with a performance on Saturday, June 28th, where students will showcase everything they’ve learned for family and friends at the Alban Arts Academy.

 Final Performance: Saturday, June 28th at 2:00 PM (Open to family & friends)
