CAMC transitions to Vandalia Health
PRESS RELEASE:
Work has begun on an exciting new look as Vandalia Health Charleston Area Medical Center’s hospitals in Charleston install new signage and branding, officially transitioning to the Vandalia Health logo and trade names.
These changes reflect our commitment to becoming a unified multi-state health system is another critical step to integrate CAMC, Mon Health System (in northern West Virginia) and Davis Health System (Elkins) into one brand – Vandalia Health.
Aside from updated signs on and around the hospitals patients will begin to notice refreshed patient handout materials.
This is a long process, with the Charleston hospitals being the first CAMC signs to change. It will take several months to change the other hospital and outpatient facilities’ signs throughout the Vandalia Health southern region. Signs are scheduled to change at Vandalia Health CAMC Plateau Medical Center in the coming months and will be updated at Vandalia Health CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center and Teays Valley Hospital as construction projects are completed.
The legal entity names will not change (e.g., Charleston Area Medical Center, Inc., CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Inc., etc.).
Branding has already changed for Davis Medical Center in Elkins and will happen in the coming months for Mon’s locations across northern West Virginia.
This also is an outward representation of Vandalia Health’s recently created vision statement: Vandalia Health brings the highest quality health care to our communities through:
- Being the compassionate patient-centered provider of choice
- Being the employer of choice
- Leading in education and training
