WVU’s McDonald earns runner-up finish at East Coast Relays

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team wrapped up competition at the East Coast Relays over the weekend.

Lily Haught placed 18th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.95.

Annishka McDonald led the Mountaineers with a second-place finish in the high jump, clearing 1.76 meters. Olivia Cress added a sixth-place finish in the event with a mark of 1.68 meters.

West Virginia returns to action on Saturday, May 9, as it hosts the WVU Last Chance Meet.
