Appalachian Arts & Crafts Fair coming to Beckley this August

Taking place August 7-8 at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center, the event brings together talented artists and crafters from across the region.

If you’re looking for something fun to do in West Virginia this August, the Appalachian Arts & Crafts Fair in Beckley is worth checking out. Taking place August 7-8 at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center, the event brings together talented artists and crafters from across the region.

Visitors can browse more than 150 booths filled with handmade jewelry, pottery, woodwork, paintings, quilts, candles, and other unique gifts. There will also be local food vendors, live music, and craft demonstrations, including the Appalachian Treasures Quilt Show.

The fair has been a longtime summer tradition in southern West Virginia and is a great way to support local artists and small businesses. Whether you’re shopping for something special or just looking to spend the day with family and friends, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Admission is $5, with children and students under 18 admitted free. If you’re in the Beckley area this August, the Appalachian Arts & Crafts Fair is a great way to experience local talent and Appalachian culture.
