Family Refuge Center announces revamp of signature fundraiser: Women’s Night Out becomes ‘Midnight in the Mountains’

PRESS RELEASE

Lewisburg, WV — September 9th, 2026 Family Refuge Center (FRC) is excited to announce the transformation of its long-standing signature fundraiser, Women’s Night Out, into a newly reimagined event: Midnight in the Mountains. This refreshed theme brings a modern, elevated atmosphere while preserving the heart and purpose of the beloved annual gathering.

For years, Women’s Night Out has brought together community members in support of survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking across Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas Counties. As the event continues to grow, FRC recognized an opportunity to expand its reach, broaden participation, and introduced a theme that reflects both celebration and resilience.

“Midnight in the Mountains represents a new chapter for our organization’s largest fundraiser,” said Stephanie Moore, Executive Director of Family Refuge Center. “This event honors the legacy of Women’s Night Out while embracing a fresh, inclusive identity that welcomes all supporters who believe in our mission.”

Event Details:

When: Saturday, October 17, 2026

Where: Valley View Farm – 29554 Midland Trail E, Lewisburg, WV 24901
