University of Charleston bests Fayetteville State
Charleston, W.Va. –The University of Charleston bested Fayetteville State University in four sets on Saturday afternoon for a home victory.

How It Happened:
Set one was a back-and-forth battle which featured twelve tie scores and seven lead changes. Though FSU had a six point lead midway through the set, UC countered and took the set 28-26. In set two, Fayetteville scored the first point and did not give back that lead, taking the set by a score of 25-21. The Golden Eagles fought their way through set three. Though the Broncos went on a 7-0 run, Charleston immediately responded with a 12-5 run to conclude the set, taking it 25-18. UC carried that momentum into the fourth and final set where they had a team hitting percentage of .333. With match point on the line, Sahana Rajesh delivered a service ace to take the set 25-16.
Sahana Rajesh led the match with 26 digs. Divine Muo and Patrycja Majos were key contributors for the Golden Eagles on offense with 16 and 12 kills respectively. Kate Strong and Madison Easton were each responsible for 6 total blocks.
