MONROE COUNTY, W.Va. — The Monroe County Family Support Center is inviting families to its annual Open House on Friday, Aug. 7, from noon to 7 p.m. The event will take place at both the center’s Union office at 130 North Street and its Peterstown office at 109 Market Street.
The open house is a chance for community members to learn more about the programs and services the Family Support Center offers while meeting staff and viewing both locations. Visitors can stop by anytime during the day, and an educational presentation will be held from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
Families who attend the open house and participate in the educational presentation will also have the opportunity to enter a drawing for children’s Mega Passes to the State Fair of West Virginia. The drawing will begin at 7 p.m.
Light refreshments will be provided throughout the event, and organizers encourage families to bring everyone along for an afternoon of learning, fun, and community connection.
The Monroe County Family Support Center looks forward to welcoming both new and returning families while highlighting the resources available to support children and parents throughout the county.
