Emergency drill to take place at Raleigh General Hospital

BECKLEY, W.Va. — On Thursday, December 11, at approximately 9:55 AM to 12:00 PM, Raleigh County Emergency Services will be conducting a full-scale disaster exercise at Raleigh General Hospital, located at 1710 Harper Rd. in Beckley.
The location will mainly be located in the emergency room trauma center area of the hospital.
Motorists traveling in the area may see the presence of emergency vehicles on-site. Visitors to the hospital may encounter exercise role players that will be clearly identified with badges and brightly colored vests.
Again, this is a routine exercise only and there is nothing to be alarmed about. Raleigh General Hospital will be operating on their normal business hours and will continue to see patients during the exercise.
