Sharon Howard & Bob Daniels

Bob Daniels has spent the last four years as President of the Ronceverte Ministerial Association, a role to which he has given his whole heart (in addition to his church ministry and his full time job at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center). It is comprised of all the churches in town of various denominations. During his tenure, the association of small churches has grown into an official nonprofit which puts on community worship services, provides joint mission activities, oversees the local pantry, and cares for the needs of the town.

This past week, he stepped down as President. And the association unanimously elected Sharon Howard to take his place. Sharon serves as Pastor of Elizabeth Chapel and is equally as involved in the community as Bob. She will bring a wealth of relationships and wisdom to her new role.

For Sharon, Bob, and all those small church pastors and leaders across the state who volunteer their time each day to quietly meet the needs of their neighbors in important ways, we salute you. And we are proud to name Sharon Howard and Bob Daniels as the certified Real West Virginians of the Week.
