Carnegie Hall announces date change for Both Sides Now

PRESS RELEASE

Both Sides Now: The Lives and Music of Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen

Lewisburg, W.Va. – Carnegie Hall announces that the upcoming performance of Both Sides Now: The Lives and Music of Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen has been rescheduled from Friday, May 21, 2027, to Friday, May 14, 2027, due to circumstances beyond its control.

All patrons who have already purchased tickets will be contacted directly by the Carnegie Hall Box Office.

Created by and starring Robbie Schaefer and Danielle Wertz, Both Sides Now invites audiences into an intimate, cabaret-style exploration of the music and intertwined lives of Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen—long-time friends and one-time lovers whose songs helped define a generation. The theatrical concert moves fluidly through decades of artistry and emotion, weaving together iconic works such as A Case of You, Hallelujah, Big Yellow Taxi, and Suzanne. At once a reflection of the 60s and 70s and a resonant story for today, Both Sides Now reveals the beauty and messiness of being human – lives lived at the edge of growth, relationships shaped by longing and courage, and the enduring pull to turn toward one another again and again.

Tickets are $45/adult and $20/student. Call (304) 645-7917 to take advantage of the discounts that are available for Carnegie Hall members, students, senior citizens, and military.

To purchase tickets, call Carnegie Hall, visit www.carnegiehallwv.org, or stop by at 611 Church Street, Lewisburg, West Virginia.  Carnegie Hall Box Office is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
