WVSOM returns to the West Virginia State Fair
The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, or WVSOM, is once again proud to be part of the State Fair of West Virginia.

FAIRLEA W.Va — The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, or WVSOM, is once again proud to be part of the State Fair of West Virginia. Located under the grandstand, the WVSOM booth offers fairgoers a variety of free, family-friendly activities and educational resources throughout the fair.
Daily blood pressure screenings are available, along with health information, wellness giveaways, and opportunities to learn more about WVSOM’s programs and community outreach initiatives.
Visitors can also explore special exhibits hosted by WVSOM departments and partners, highlighting topics ranging from rural health and admissions to youth outreach and virtual education.
WVSOM is the state’s largest medical school and is a national leader in educating osteopathic physicians for primary care medicine in rural areas.
