Glenville State’s Daiki Aiura tabbed MEC Golfer of the Week
FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Glenville State sophomore Daiki Aiura has been named the Mountain East Conference Golfer of the Week presented by The Health Plan, the league announced today.
Aiura, who was an All-MEC First Team selection a year ago, started off the new year in style. The sophomore out of Tokyo, Japan, shot (-7) over three rounds at the UC Fall Invitational, taking first place in the tournament by six shots. He had a pair of 66’s (-4) in rounds two and three to cap off his strong opening weekend.
