Fairmont State wins home invitational
FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Fairmont State women’s golf finished first at the Senator Larry Edgell Invitational with a two-round total of 651 (+91), led by Emerson Simons’ first-place 149 (+9).
Simons placed first with a 149 (+9), posting rounds of 77 (+7) and 72 (+2).
Emily Haldenby finished seventh with a 162 (+22), including a second-round 78 (+8).
Candela Lopez tied for eighth with a 166 (+26), carding rounds of 88 (+18) and 78 (+8).
