Four Shepherd student-athletes gain CSC Academic All-District At-Large honors

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Four Shepherd University student athletes recently gained College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic At-Large All-District honors. Seniors Trey Rios (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) and Morgan Dehoff (Rohrersville, Md./Boonsboro) of the men’s golf team and junior defender Luetta Seipp (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) and junior midfielder Aubrey Harrison (Fairmont, W.Va./Fairmont Senior) of the women’s lacrosse team were recognized.
 
Rios boasts a 3.76 grade point average as a data analytics major. He was honored for the third consecutive year. Rios and Morgan Dehoff represented Shepherd as individuals at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regionals in May.
 
Dehoff  boasts a 3.54 grade point average as a computer and information science major. Dehoff and Trey Rios represented Shepherd as individuals at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Regionals in May.
 
Seipp boasts a 3.75 grade point average as a sports marketing major. She gained first team All-PSAC East honors as she led the PSAC and ranked eighth nationally in ground balls per game (3.56). Her 41 caused turnovers on the season tied the Shepherd single-season mark set by Alyx Albano in 2014 and 2015. She added eight draw controls.
 
Harrison boasts a 3.53 grade point average as a nursing major. Harrison recorded 11 goals and four assists for 15 points. She added 24 draw controls, 21 ground balls, and eight caused turnovers.
