Born with spinal meningitis, Jeff Jones nearly died as an infant. As a result, he has lived with life-long disabilities including hearing loss. Yet, he shows up to work every day at Kroger and keeps close tabs on all of his customers. “You haven’t been here to see me in a while!” he often says to customers. He takes pride in his work and does it well, keeping the carts in a very busy store organized and available. He makes it a priority to greet people by name and bring a smile to their face.
For his hard work and dedication to building relationships with his customers, RealWV is proud to name Jeff Jones as the certified Real West Virginian of the week.
