Jina Belcher

Since its inception, the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority has been a trusted partner and valued resource for communities all across southern West Virginia. From entrepreneurial-assistance, to site re-development efforts and investment-sourcing, the dedicated team of the NRGRDA has been a treasured friend to all who have needed one. In combination with the WV Hive, the NRGRDA remains on the forefront of economic development in the Mountain State.

And while the NRGRDA’s positive impact is the culmination of a true team-effort, there is perhaps no one who works harder than the team’s leader, Executive Director Jina Belcher. Jina is a tireless advocate for the communities that she serves, and an irreplaceable partner to businesses both new and existing. 

For all that she does to promote the still resilience and silent resolve of West Virginia’s workforce, and for leading her skilled and dedicated team with unwavering passion, we are pleased to name Jina Belcher as the certified Real West Virginian of the Week.
